In the salon with the theme of “promoting high-quality development in Qinghai with first-class photovoltaic industry”, Xing Qing, President of Smart Photovoltaic Business in China of Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd., introduced Huawei’s smart photovoltaic business. Xing Qing said that Huawei Smart Photovoltaic is committed to integrating photovoltaic storage technology with digital technology, changing the new energy control mode, and transforming photovoltaic power generation from a grid-following type to a grid-building type that actively supports the grid, solving the grid-connection problem of photovoltaic power plants, and helping the large-scale development of clean energy bases.
At present, the demonstration project of smart solar-storage generators has been built in Qinghai Gonghe, and more than 180 grid-connected tests including large frequency disturbances and voltage disturbances have been completed. Next, Huawei Smart PV will select several power grids with different characteristics and continue to complete hundreds of tests. It is expected that by the end of this year, the smart solar-storage generator will be able to achieve commercial operation level, and complete commercial operation for all scenarios such as large-scale bases, UHV, high altitude, multi-energy complementarity, micro-grid and off-grid.
